SHINEE IN 2012.

2012 has been a long and jam packed year for Shinee. After an 18 month long wait, Shawols were finally blessed with their comeback ‘Sherlock’. Needless to say, they did not disappoint. 
Birthdays were celebrating, Taemin finally outgrew his teenage years and ventured into his 20’s /sobs/ as well as Jonghyun turning 23, Key and Minho going on 22 and our favourite leader turning 24. 

But what’s a year without some controversy? On the 21st of August, Jongtae’s Internet War sparked just that; an internet war. Outbursts of anger were lit between shippings and idols were bad mouthed. But in the end, Shawols came through and now the majority of our fandom has grown to appreciate just how sexy this performance really is. 

Shinee did not only come back in Korea, they released two new singles in Japan. Dazzling Girl and 1000 Years By Your Side. If you haven’t watched 1000 Years yet, bring a box of tissues - you’ll need it. 

To reward our favourite boy’s hard work, they were awarded the ‘Best Dance Performance Male Group’ at the MAMA awards for 2012. It was well deserved and we are so proud of our boys ♥  

All in all, this year has seen to be one of the most full on and Shawols have not been disappointed. Thank you, Shinee, for giving us such a great year. Bring on 2013! /but please rest first!♥/
